Principle of care: Organic farming should be managed in a careful and responsible way to protect the health and well-being of the current and future generations and the environment.
Strict rules from farm to fork
Ecology, health, care and justice are the four basic principles of organic farming. In the organic production of saffron, like all other organic products, it must follow the four mentioned principles.
Organic saffron producer measures the fertility of the soil through completely natural efforts and replaces the use of chemical pesticides with appropriate agronomic methods. In addition to taking care of the soil and the ecology on the farm, it will also take care of the final product that is consumed.
Soil health, plant health and finally the health of consumers of organic products are all the issues that a saffron farmer will to consider through the implementation of organic laws and regulations on all stakeholders.
